Automatic Gypsum Granules Machinery

Dry granulation process involves squeezing powder between two counter-rotating rollers to produce a continuous sheet or ribbon of materials. The DH series dry roll press granulator adopts dry rolling technology to compress powdery materials with moisture content ≤1% into pieces or tablets.

Through breaking and screening, lump materials are converted into granules meeting specific application requirements. The density of materials can increase 1.5–3 times during pressing, ensuring high granular strength.

Working Principle & Process

Principle Diagram 1
Principle Diagram 2
01. Batching & Mixing Use belt scales to weigh raw materials according to formula and mix for uniform feeding.
02. Compaction (DH Series Compactor) Double rollers compress the dry powder under mechanical pressure. This stage includes a dosage screw feeder, forced feeder, and flaking machine.
03. Crushing & Screening Crush bar-shaped products into 2-4mm irregular granules and use a rotary screen to sieve the final products.
04. Coating & Packaging Optional coating to avoid clumping, followed by automated packaging (25-50kg/bag or Ton-bag).
05. Dust Collection Two-stage removal (cyclone + bag filter) to ensure a clean workshop environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are suitable for dry granulation?
Powdery materials with a moisture content of ≤1%, such as zinc oxide, gypsum, ammonium sulphate, and potassium fertilizer, are ideal for this equipment.
Can the size and hardness of the granules be adjusted?
Yes. Granule strength is adjusted via roller pressure, and granule size (typically 2-5mm) is determined by the crusher mesh design.
Is a drying process required after granulation?
No. Since the equipment uses dry rolling technology, powders are granulated directly without the need for subsequent drying.
How does the machinery handle dust pollution?
The system includes a two-stage dust collection process using a cyclone dust collector and a bag filter to return dust to the granulation process.
What is the production capacity of the DH series?
Depending on the model, capacity ranges from 1 ton per hour to 10 tons per hour per unit.
Is customized voltage available?
Yes, the voltage and power configurations can be customized based on your local industrial requirements.
